It is not always easy to find these in the mainstream supermarkets, as a number of our clients have told us. So, we’re excited to now stock the Raw Press range of plant-based snacks, one of the few places in Spain to do so.
Raw Press is a leading London-based company with a portfolio of vegan-friendly products, and all of them organic. Of course you don’t need to be vegan to enjoy them! The company’s brands, some of them having different names, all share the following qualities: their nutritional value has been well thought out, they are all free of refined sugar, they are gluten-free, vegan and best of all, they taste great.
Pronuts now available in Marbella
Pronuts is a Raw Press sub-brand. It’s a raw protein donut contain 15g of plant-based protein, made from oats, cashews and dates, plus vegan hemp protein powder and a raw chocolate bean icing sweetened with lucuma and coconut sugar.
The Pronuts donut comes in three flavours: Rose & Raspberry, Cacao Crunch and CBD & Matcha. The Rose & Raspberry flavour, in addition to the basic ingredients, also contains beetroot powder, freeze-dried raspberries, rose petals and rose water, as well as geranium extract.
Chocolate fans will enjoy the Cacao Crunch with its added cacao nibs, cocoa butter and cocoa beans, while the CBD & Matcha, adds hemp seeds, CBD-infused coconut oil and matcha to the basic recipe.
What’s more, not only is it a yummy snack, it comes in innovative packaging. The award-winning coated paper product, designed by Sirane and called Earth Pouch, is recyclable and compostable. There is no plastic used in making this packaging, and it’s the first protein snack bar to be made in a donut shape, topped off with glazing.

These Raw Press granolas are called ‘adaptogenic’ because they incorporate mood-boosting fruits, nuts and seeds, as well as superfoods, nootropics, Auyurvedic herbs and mushrooms. What is ‘adaptogenic’?
To explain, ‘adaptogens’ are natural ingredients that help the autonomic nervous system to adapt to stress, or return to homeostasis, the body’s self-healing mechanism, while ‘nootropics’ are foods that boost mental performance.
The ideal granolas
The range comes in four flavours: Chill, Boost, Beauty and Happy. For example, Chill contains Ashwagandha, which reduces cortisol, as well as Nutmeg for calming, and Jujube for relaxation. The Boost granola includes energy giving ingredients such as Siberian ginseng liquorice and other natural stimulants.
Beauty has added almonds to support, bone, skin and hair health, as well as raspberries for your heart, and rose, which is a powerful antioxidant as well as being a mood improver. Happy contains banana to boost serotonin levels, Vitamin D3 (the sunshine vitamin), Gingo Biloba and Brahmi, which aids memory and concentration.
