  • Joe Maple Syrup: A natural sweetener that adds a subtle sweetness to your rice mixture.
  • Mizkan Sushi Rice Vinegar: Essential for giving your sushi rice that perfect tangy flavour.
  • Salt: Just a pinch to enhance the flavours.
  • Nori Sheets: The perfect wrap for your sushi rolls, adding a touch of the sea.
  • Saitaku Sushi Rolling Mat: For rolling your sushi with ease and precision.

Instructions:

  3. Roll the Sushi: Place a nori sheet on the Saitaku Sushi Rolling Mat. Spread an even layer of the seasoned brown rice over the nori, leaving a small border at the top edge. Add your sliced veggies and avocado.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of soaked and drained chickpeas: If using raw chickpeas, soak them for 48 hours, drain, and use them as they are.
  • 1 handful of Sofra coriander or parsley: Whichever herb you prefer for that fresh, zesty flavour.
  • ½ red onion: Adds a nice crunch and slight sweetness.

 

Seasoning to taste:

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Heera pepper
